Mr. Ward is the proud principal of Bethel School and will serve as the Director of Watauga Virtual Academy for the 2024-25 school year. Christy Laws

Christy Laws is the middle school English Language Arts teacher for Watauga Virtual Academy. She has taught for 25 years with 21 of those years being in Watauga County Schools.  Christy is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with a Masters in Reading Education and certifications in math, reading, science, and social studies. She loves spending time with her husband and six daughters, reading, photography, and being involved with her church.
